Quick Healthy Breakfast Recipe – Yele’s Oatmeal Bread

Quick healthy breakfast recipe is not hyped enough!
If there’s something about me you should know, it is how I find ways around doing things that take time.
Let’s just say I love to find the easiest ways to do the hardest tasks like preparing a healthy breakfast.

Here is another super nutritious breakfast recipe I came up with in one of my idle moments.

I have different modifications to it but let’s go with the basic one first.

This one is quick and easy.

I am considerate in bringing you fast, delicious and nutritious food at the same time.

Just call me the kitchen genius already.

All I ever want- healthy quickies we can have as breakfast or brunch because intermittent fasting got me here.

Let’s get into it.

Ingredients:

Oatmeal

Baking soda

Salt

Milk

Eggs

Coconut oil

Honey

Method:

Step  1- measure out your oatmeal of choice(Quaker oat, good morning oat, etc.)

Step 2- Pour it in a miller or blender. Add your baking soda to it and blend till it’s fine.

Step 3 –Add salt to the mixture and mill again.

Step 4- Break in the eggs in a separate bowl. Add milk and honey and whisk them all together.

Step 5- Add the whisked mixture into the dry ingredients in a blender.

Step 6- Blend until you have a batter.

Step 7- Grease the toaster or sandwich maker with coconut oil. Olive oil is also a good substitute.

Step 8- Fill in each pit of the toaster with the batter and let it cook for about 2 minutes

Step 9- We have our Oatmeal bread. Serve with something healthy e.g fruit juice.

Notes– I used oatmeal instead of flour and honey instead of sugar because we’re opting in for healthier choices.

Moreso, it’s more filling so I get to eat lesser quantities and I’m good to go.

I also used a toaster instead of an oven because I was in a no-bake mood and I think I am ditching the oven for some time with this hack.

I also love doing my pancakes this way now.

What do you think of this recipe? Will you try this sometime soon?

    • Yes please. You can use olive oil or margarine. It was for a healthy choice and the fragrance + flavor I opted for coconut oil
